Develop effective tooling, alerts, and responses to anticipate, identify and address reliability risks. Participate in on-call rotation with other teams in the Performance and Reliability Teams. Engage with product engineering teams to triage production outages and carry forward action items to improve ongoing reliability. Define and evangelize cloud-related optimizations and best practices to improve reliability and performance.

Making complex technology easy to understand to any audience. Data Science areas


Our mission is to make pictures worth thousand words with the help of computer vision and image recognition. We leverage recent advances in deep learning and turn state-of-the-art research into production services.


We use natural language processing and machine learning to find meaning and structure in text and language. We provide features, models and services to other data science teams or directly to product teams.


One of the goals of the data science team is to understand who our users are and how they behave on our sites. Our current focus is to study the dynamics of user acquisition and user retention through advanced analysis using statistical and machine learning techniques.


Personalized search and recommendations are key when it comes to offering great and unique experiences to our users. We rely on innovative techniques from a variety of fields including data mining, machine learning and information retrieval in order to help our users discover relevant content that they want to engage with.


We apply machine learning techniques on user behavior data to predict demographic traits, audience segments, detect abnormal activity, and much more. We have built a machine learning pipeline that relies on a distributed architecture that processes billions of events on a daily basis.

UX areas


Interaction/Product design creates the interactions our users have with our products including: the controls, mechanisms, and processes that users require to perform their tasks and meet their goals. Our designers must synthesise user insights to create user flows, wireframes, information architecture and interface mockups that all add up to amazing products. You get impatient if you are not continuously sketching concepts, tweaking flows or polishing our designs and contribute to conceptual big-thinking


Researchers help product teams establish facts and find problems in their products as well as ensure that user input is integrated into our product lifecycle. UX research turns user insights around needs and pain points into usable and actionable artifacts that impact how we build our products.


Performance analysis and optimisation of our products is needed to ensure the solutions we implement are actually working for our users. Optimisation specialists work as part of the team to provide tracking requirements, analytics and recommendations for product optimisation, UX prioritisation, conversions tracking, user growth and user satisfaction


Our visual design team has a passion for making our products truly come to life and maintaining world class usability in a beautiful and engaging way. They take concepts and interface mockups to the next level by adding in the aesthetics of a user interface, ensuring that it looks good, communicates the right image to users, and conforms to any brand guidelines.
